901-760-7599A drafty entry door is the one energy leak you can feel with the back of your hand, and the first thing a visitor touches. Modern insulated doors seal on all four sides and hold that seal through a Mid-South summer.
The part that matters and rarely gets talked about is the sill. A door set without proper sill pan flashing will eventually rot the framing underneath it, and by the time the floor tells you, the repair is no longer a door.

Can you replace a door without replacing the frame?
Sometimes. If the frame is square, sound and properly flashed, a slab replacement works. If the frame has moved or the sill is soft, replacing the whole unit is the honest answer and we will show you why.
